About Visit Mooresville

Visit Mooresville is the official destination marketing organization for Mooresville, North Carolina. As a nonprofit 501(c)(4) organization, we focus on promoting the town as a place to visit while supporting the businesses, experiences, and people that make it what it is.

Mooresville is shaped by a mix of racing heritage, lake life, and a growing collection of local businesses and experiences. That combination continues to evolve, but it stays rooted in what has always defined the community.

Our job is to tell that story in a way that brings people here.

Who We Are

Visit Mooresville exists to strengthen the local economy by encouraging visitation. When people choose to spend time in Mooresville, that translates directly into support for local businesses, increased tax revenue, and continued investment in the community.

Tourism plays a practical role. Visitors book hotel rooms, eat at local restaurants, shop, attend events, and explore attractions. That activity supports jobs and helps fund the services and infrastructure that benefit residents every day.

We promote Mooresville through targeted marketing, support meetings and group travel, and highlight local events and experiences that are open to and designed for visitors. We also work with local stakeholders to strengthen the overall visitor experience and ensure tourism growth benefits the community as a whole.
