This fun evening features wine or beer tastings at multiple Downtown Mooresville businesses. Stroll down Broad and Main Streets, where local and regional artists display and sell their works.  Enjoy live music and light appetizers, served both inside of businesses and outside on the sidewalks. One of the most popular events in downtown Mooresville, the #FoodTruck Festival is a great way to sample good food and drinks from area trucks. Taste some delicious gourmet fare, listen to live music, stroll the streets & shop.  This event gets crowded so come early and bring a chair!  The Festival of Food Trucks runs throughout the summer. If you want to experience picking fresh produce from the garden without the work of tending your own garden plot, head over to Carrigan Farms where you can pick your own fruit and vegetables. Asparagus kicks off the season in mid-April, with strawberries following in late April or May (depending on the weather conditions). It’s great family fun and a learning experience for kids on how and where food is grown.

This free event features 2 Great Bands, 12 Regional Breweries, a Local Cider Tent, Wine Tent, Great Food vendors, Cigar Tent, Style Trucks, Kids Zone and more, all on the beautiful grounds at Langtree Lake Norman. Details at https://www.langtreelkn.com/event/lakefront-hops-fest/

The sixth season of this popular, 22-week concert series begins in May and runs every Thursday through September. A different band is featured each week, ranging from country to classic rock to 80s pop music. Craft beer and drink tents are on site. Arrive early to visit LangTree shops and enjoy dinner in one of the restaurants. Bring a chair for the lawn and your dancing shoes. As always, admission is FREE!

The 37th Annual Race City Festival in historic Downtown Mooresville takes place in the heart of Race City USA! This family friendly event features LIVE music throughout the day, more than 200 vendor booths, Food Trucks, a beer garden, train rides, arts, crafts, antiques, classic cars, business displays, and NASCAR racing displays/souvenir items. Downtown restaurants, art galleries and retailers will be open with many offering sidewalk sales and specials. Free Admission and Open to the public.

Little Karts. Big Names. Bigger Battle.

See some of NASCAR’s biggest drivers battling each other for bragging rights in GoPro Motorplex’s rental fleet of go-karts. One of the most popular events during the #600Festival, there is always some dirt (or mud!) flying and lots of bumping and “racing.” Past champions include Bubba Wallace and Zane Smith. Fans also have a chance for autographs and photos with the drivers. The event is FREE but there is a $10 charge per car for parking. You can also upgrade to VIP admission for catered dinner, reserved trackside space and more.  Click for more details.
