It’s Race Week – and Things Are a Little Different This Year

One of the most anticipated times of the year in Mooresville is during the May Race Week, where we welcome visitors from all over the country who are here to watch the Coca-Cola 600. This year the race goes on, but without the presence of fans in the stands. Many of the events for the 600 Festival have been postponed until the fall, and we will keep you updated on those. But if you’re like us, and itching to get back to anything race related, check below for ways to feel like a race fan again.

NASCAR Haulers Parade (Virtual)

The Haulers on Union Parade & Fan Fest presented by Freightliner is a fan favorite every year. That’s why we’ve decided to do whatever we can to make sure this year is no different. This Thursday, May 14, at 7 p.m., the 600 Festival will be hosting the first-ever VIRTUAL Haulers on Union Parade & Fan Fest presented by Freightliner, featuring:
● Giveaways, including hats, T-shirts and signed memorabilia, courtesy of our friends at Freightliner
● Gal Friday Band, who’ll kick us off with great music starting at 7 p.m.
● Your favorite NASCAR drivers, who will be sharing messages with fans throughout the evening
● Video recaps of Hauler Parades of the past

You can catch the event on the 600 Festival Facebook page at 7:00 pm.

The LIVE Haulers of Union Parade & Fan Fest presented by Freightliner will kick off on Thursday, Oct. 8 in Concord, NC.
