Mooresville 150th Anniversary Fireworks Spectacular
January 14, 2023

Join us in Mooresville for the official kick-off of our 150th Anniversary celebration with the Fireworks Spectacular presented by Randy Marion. This family-friendly event will feature a roaming magician, photo booth, live music, food trucks, a giant soccer kick, and more. A spectacular fireworks show will conclude the evening’s events. Check special hotel rates available for the evening or weekend!

A free shuttle service is available to easily get to and from LangTree Lake Norman. Two buses will run continuously from Merino Mill at 500 S. Main Street and The Cove Church at 197 Langtree Road to LangTree Lake Norman, starting at 4 p.m. and ending at 8 p.m.

The New Year’s Eve Fireworks Spectacular launches the Town of Mooresville’s 150th anniversary, a year-long celebration filled with events across Mooresville.

Miracle on Main
November 17 – January 14

We can’t think of a better way to kick off the holiday season than with a pop-up bar dedicated to all things “A Christmas Story”. Ralphie would be so proud to stroll into this kitschy Christmas wonderland, complete with specialty hand-crafted cocktails and a healthy dose of nostalgia. Miracle on Main will be open nightly through New Year’s Eve.

Zootastic Park’s Christmas Wonderland of Lights
November 18 – January 1

Experience the wonderland of over 4 million Christmas lights as you wind through a safari of animals. Take a photo with Santa and a baby kangaroo, roast marshmallows, make a s’more, or grab a cup of hot cocoa! The kids can take a ride on the train or carousel and there are also pony rides. Kiss a giraffe, feed a tiger, or love on some barnyard animals. Whatever you chose to do, your night will be filled with magic and Christmas joy!

Langtree at the Lake Annual Tree Lighting
November 19, 5:30pm – 9pm

Kick off the Christmas season with the Annual Tree Lighting at Langtree. Countdown to the tree lighting at 7:15pm, visit the North Pole Post Office to drop your letters to Santa, or tell him your wishlist in person. There will be food and dessert vendors, plenty of good libations, and train rides for the kids.

Mooresville Christmas Parade
Tuesday November 22, 3:00pm

This will be the 77th year for the Mooresville Christmas Parade, and it will be bigger and better than ever! The parade travels south down Main Street, beginning at Statesville Avenue and ending just past Wilson Avenue near Merino’s Mill. The parade can be viewed from any point in between. Bring your chairs and blankets! A crowd of 5,000-7,000 is expected so definitely head over early to beat the crowds.

Chickadee Farms Festival of Trees
November 25 – December 3

4pm – 8pm

Stroll through the barn at the beautiful Chickadee Farms, where 60 fully decorated trees are on display. Enter a raffle to win one of the trees, including the $1,000 money tree! Take a train ride, meet Santa, grab some grub at a food truck, and enjoy carnival games, s’mores around the firepit, drinks at the silo bar, and meet some adorable mini horses. Tickets will be sold at the door. $20 per person, free for kids under 2.
